Paul Cano, Founder & President of 2MCFire
Paul Cano is the Founder and President of 2MCFire. He began his career over 30 years ago with the U.S. Forest Service in 1992, serving as a wild land hotshot and progressing through a distinguished career in wildfire management. Over the years, Paul has achieved numerous milestones, including serving as a subject matter expert for the National Fire Center, battalion chief, arson investigator, training instructor and Chief Officer.

Stan Vigil, Operations Chief
Stan brings over 24 years of combined experience in wildland firefighting and all-risk fire department operations. His background includes service with El Cariso Hotshots, CAL FIRE and the Department of Defense Fire Service as well as time as a Company Officer on a Type 1 structure engine. Stan is a certified EMT and currently serves as an on-call Fire Specialist with 2MCFire, where he applies his extensive field expertise to support wildfire prevention and property protection efforts across Southern California and beyond.

Joseph Cano, Wildfire Mitigation & Risk Reduction Program Manager
Joseph oversees the planning and implementation of residential and insurance-driven wildfire mitigation programs, with a focus on defensible space, ignition-zone risk reduction, and loss-prevention strategies aligned with CAL FIRE and ISO standards.
A foundational contributor to 2MCFire, Joseph brings practical field experience in fire behavior, fuel mitigation, and operational safety. He holds a degree in Behavioral Health from the University of Nevada, Reno, and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Behavioral Health. This background strengthens homeowner engagement, compliance coordination, and risk-communication efforts across diverse communities.

Kai Cano, Director of Wildfire Operations & Compliance
Kai is a long-time operations consultant to 2MCFire, providing advisory support on ground operations, safety practices and training standards. With over 10 years of wildfire experience, he brings practical insight in fire behavior, suppression operations, fuels management and heavy equipment fireline construction.
While pursuing his own professional work in fire, Kai continues to support 2MCFire as a trusted resource, offering guidance that helps reinforce safe, effective and consistent field practices aligned with recognized wildfire mitigation frameworks.

Reighan Fisher, Multimedia Producer & Content Strategist
Reighan is our Multimedia Producer with over 10 years of experience in video production, content creation and visual storytelling. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno, and brings a versatile skill set spanning web design, video production and digital media.
At 2MCFire, Reighan helps promote the brand through timely weather updates, company news and relevant industry coverage. She also collaborates closely with the team to support a wide range of projects and ensures key initiatives and behind-the-scenes needs are accomplished throughout the year.
